"I've had a slip at Snug Harbor for 2 seasons and have used their service department several times. I
had a pair of Evinrude 175hp Ficht motors on my World Cat, and these motors are know as dogs.
Well I guess I was lucky to have a good pair, I did however have some problems that required service and
Shawn did a great job of finding the issues and fixing them. They never added anything more on the repair bill
like some shops do. Things were always fixed at a very fair price and quality work. This season I repowered
with a pair of 175 hp E-Tec demo motors that I had purchased in Florida. With the help of the service
department, we arranged to have the motors shipped to the marina. They removed the old motors and
installed theE-Tec's, and did a fantastic job at a reasonable price. After the installation, they went over all the
information on how to use and care for the motors. Paul took care of the warranty transfer and all the other
involved paperwork. I was very pleased with the service Snug Harbor Marina performed for me. I was
even more pleased with the performance of the E-Tec's! These motors run great, LOTS of torque, rapid
acceleration adn quiet even @ WOT. Increased gas milage, more power, 85:1 oil ratio, little maintenance.
I'd recommmend E-Tec's to everyone. Very satisfied Snug Harbor Customer!"
